I have a pretty active lifestyle. I work out, I lift weights, I play with my dogs, but despite all of that and all the effort I put into it, there are still those problem areas that I have. Growing up, I was never one of those thin girls. I was always a little bit chubby. When I finally grew out of most of my baby fat, I did have some love handle issues still there. Pants didn’t fit me right and that’s why I looked into liposuction.
My board-certified plastic surgeon and I decided that local anesthesia was a great option. That way I have fewer complications and I could walk out of the office and either just go home or go out with friends if I wanted to. I chose liposuction over noninvasive options because after doing research, I found out that noninvasive options, the results can vary and that you might need multiple treatments, so I felt like with this I could finally get there. With my active lifestyle and dieting, this was the last step to really get where I wanted to be.
A few days after surgery, I feel really excited. I feel like I can go out with my friends and go to work and focus on that and not have to worry about how I’m feeling in my clothes.
